You cannot opt out of transactional or service-related messages that are necessary to provide the Services—such as reservation confirmations, changes to bookings, security notices, or updates to this Privacy Policy.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Sites and Services are not intended for children under thirteen (13) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We use NewBook to manage reservations and booking operations. We use NewBook Payments to process payments and related transactions. When you make a reservation or payment, your information is processed by these providers to complete your request, prevent fraud, provide receipts/confirmations, and comply with legal obligations.

NewBook and NewBook Payments may process information on our behalf as service providers. Their privacy and security practices may also apply to information they process. We encourage you to review the applicable NewBook and/or NewBook Payments documentation for more information.

7. Sharing Your Information

We may share personal information as follows, consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law:

  • Service Providers: We may disclose personal information to vendors, contractors, and service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., NewBookNewBook Payments, payment processing, reservation/booking systems, customer support tools, data storage, website hosting, email delivery, marketing support, security services, and web analytics). For example, we use NewBook to administer reservations and guest communications, and we use NewBook Payments to process payments and related transactions. These providers are permitted to access personal information only as needed to perform services for us and are required to protect it and use it only for authorized purposes.
  • Business Transfers: Information about users may be disclosed or transferred as part of any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction involving Sky Ridge Farm, including bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, where permitted by law.
  • Legal, Safety, and Rights Protection: We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
    • enforce or apply our terms or policies;
    • comply with a legal obligation or lawful request;
    • cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory investigations;
    • protect the rights, property, or safety of Sky Ridge Farm, our users, or others; or
    • detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
  • With Your Direction/Consent: We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide consent.
  • Aggregated/De-Identified Information: We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you (see Section 8).

8. Aggregated Data

We may generate and use aggregated or de-identified data for internal use and to share with others. “Aggregated Data” means information that has been stripped of identifiers and combined or manipulated to provide generalized insights (for example, overall visitation trends). Aggregated Data is not intended to identify you.

9. Links to Other Sites

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, web beacons, SDKs, and local storage) to operate the Sites and to:

  • remember preferences and settings;
  • help keep the Sites secure;
  • understand how users interact with our content;
  • measure and improve marketing performance; and
  • deliver and measure advertising (where applicable).

Cookie choices: Most browsers allow you to manage cookies via settings. If you disable cookies, certain features of the Sites may not function properly.

Do Not Track: Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not yet a universally accepted standard, we do not respond to all such signals.

11. Interest-Based Advertising; Google/Third-Party Ads (If Used)

We may use advertising and analytics services (for example, Google Analytics and Google Ads) that rely on cookies and similar technologies to measure performance and show ads that may be relevant to you on third-party sites.

You can learn about Google’s advertising controls through Google’s ad settings and opt-out tools, and you may be able to opt out of certain interest-based advertising through industry opt-out programs (where available). Note that opting out does not eliminate ads; it may make them less relevant.

12. User-Generated Content and Public Postings

If the Sites allow you to post reviews, comments, photos, or other content in public areas, any information you submit may become public and may be collected and used by others. Please use discretion when posting personal information in public areas.

13. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under applicable California privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) regarding your personal information, subject to legal limitations and exceptions. Depending on how we handle personal information, these rights may include:

  • the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and/or “share” (as defined by law);
  • the right to request deletion of personal information;
  • the right to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • the right to opt out of certain uses, including “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (if applicable);
  • the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (if applicable); and
  • the right to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

To submit a request, contact us at [[email protected]] with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line, or use [webform link] if available. We will verify your request as required by law.

Shine the Light: California’s “Shine the Light” law may permit California residents to request certain information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Requests may be submitted to [[email protected]]. We may respond consistent with applicable law and may limit responses as permitted.
